‘Candy government’ at Destrehan High

DESTREHAN - Freshmen students in Cori Southard’s civics class at Destrehan High School have just finished studying the legislative branch.

Students made an edible model of the United States Congress in session using assorted candies.

The session being portrayed was of the Senate.
