Take 90 to avoid 4-way stop signs
Dear Editor,
I’d like to thank Mr. (Cletus) Martin for educating the residents of Mimosa Park on the outdated and antiquated laws of the fine state of Louisiana. And yes, he is absolutely correct in his assertion in the reason behind placing yet another 4-way stop at yet another intersection in St. Charles Parish.
I am that neighbor on the corner. I am that neighbor whose children have to cross Primrose to board a school bus. I am that neighbor who utilizes Primrose to jog on. I am that neighbor who yells at vehicles exceeding the posted 25 MPH speed limit!!
While I can relate to Mr. Martin’s brake dilemma, might I offer you an alternative route for your travels - try Highway 90; there are no 4-way stop signs!!!
