Albert Laque hosts annual senior citizens luncheon at Luling VFW

Rainy and cold weather conditions did nothing to hamper the turnout as nearly 400 seniors crowded the hall and enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner.
They also enjoyed dancing to music by Wayne Foret as well as door prizes and a visit by Santa.

The St. John Sheriff’s Office apparently gave a LaPlace woman accused of killing three people, including a pregnant woman, in an accident on Airline Highway in Norco control of the car after arresting the car’s original driver only hours earlier.
