Flying high at R.K. Smith Middle School
LULING - Eighth grade R. K. Smith Middle School students constructed kites in the science lab as an exploration of winds activity.

Students had to change one variable within their lab groups to determine if kite design affects the ability of the kites to fly. Shown in the picture is Sierra Stoney flying her kite, with Raven Borne in the background with her kite.
