St. Rose man shot to death in vacant lot

St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s officers found a man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds in an open lot in St. Rose.

The victim, Deshawn Davis, was a 25-year-old male who was alive at the time of the officers’ arrival. However, he was pronounced dead at St. Charles Parish Hospital close to two hours later.

The incident is currently under investigation and anyone that has information about the crime is asked to contact Det. Brad Walsh at (985) 783-1135 or (985) 783-6807. Crime Stoppers can also be called at 1-877-903-STOP.
