Led by their social studies teacher and middle school coordinator Lisa Benoit, the Boston trip served as a hand-on learning experience to the social studies curriculum.
The tour featured visits to Salem, John F. Kennedy’s library, Plymouth Plantation, Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower, the Freedom Trail, the Minute Man National Park, Harvard and a cranberry farm.
Students spent the year before learning about the upcoming trip by research and monthly projects.
