Mrs. Susie Brown Johnson and Mr. Anthony Ronald Daisy are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Keisha Daisy to Dwayne Bolden, son of Rev. and Mrs. Mitchell Bolden, Jr.
Keisha is a graduate of Pointe Coupee Central High School and Southern University, and is currently a student at Southeastern Louisiana University. Keisha is employed by St. John Parish School Board, owner of Greater Fellowship Outreach Church, Inc. and co-owner of Bigboy Trucking, LLC. Dwayne is a graduate of Hahnville High School and River Parish Vocational School. He is employed by Civil Construction and owner of Bigboy Trucking, LLC. A July wedding is planned in Baton Rouge.

Legislators vow to help parish fight huge insurance increases - 557 views
Parish President V.J. St. Pierre, along with eight other parish presidents and representatives from five other parishes, visited Washington, D.C. to talk to officials about the potential spike in local flood insurance premiums should large portions of the Biggert-Waters Act be allowed to take effect in October.
