Chiasson - Labat Engagement

Brett and Ginger Parr Chiasson of Des Allemands are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Chiasson to Raymond Joseph Labat, III of Luling, son of Raymond Jr., and Regina Champagne Labat.

Ashley is the maternal granddaughter of Dewey and Ann Parr of Lockport and the paternal granddaughter of Jesse and Julie Dufrene Chiasson of Luling.

Ray is the maternal grandson of Rene and Mae Aucoin Champagne of Luling and the paternal grandson of Raymond Sr., and Elva Keating Labat of Luling.

Ashley is a graduate of Hahnville High School, class of 2003. She also attended Nicholls State University where she received a bachelor degree in nursing. Ashley is now employed as an RN with Ochsner Health Systems presently working in oncology.

.Ray is a graduate of Rummel High School, class of 2003. He attended Nicholls State University where he received a bachelor degree in nursing. Ray is also employed by Ochsner Health Systems as an RN on the transplant unit.

The couple will wed on Jan. 24, 2009 in New Orleans and are planning to reside in St. Charles Parish.”
