CUTTING FOR A CAUSE. Destrehan stylist Niki Walker is pictured with 13-year-old Sarah Blakesley who cut cut 10-inches of her hair for charity.
Rickey Pate, Traci Woodward, Damon Ayala and Niki Walker herself were there with scissors in hand to help customers donate to the unique and helpful organization.
Resident Elizabeth Blakesley, 13, made a 10-inch donation. Blakely’s mother says that her daughter, who is a Leukemia survivor, wanted to grow her hair long just so she could make a donation.
