Destrehan baseball team holds golf tournament in effort to raise funds

The Destrehan baseball team will host a golf tournament on Monday, Nov. 24 at the Ormond Country Club in Destrehan.

All proceeds from the event will help fund the upcoming 2009 season.

The tournament is a 4-person scramble with an 18-hole shotgun start. The field is limited.

Tournament fees are as follows: $80 per player and $320 for teams of four.

All fees include green fees and cart, lunch, drinks and snacks on the course, and door prizes.

Many sponsorship opportunities are available. Beverage cart and meal sponsorships are available for those who donate drinks and make donations. Hole sponsorships are $100 to $200.
