Troxler
Leander Joseph Troxler, beloved husband, father and grandfather, joined the Lord peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 at the age of 80.
He was a resident of Hahnville. Retired from Shell Chemical. Veteran of US Forces Naval Air, Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Bergeron Troxler; father of Kim Lee (Lola), Kip, Biff, Quincee Berthelot (Brice), Lyddi Gassen (Wayne), Depp, Calli Madere (Paul), Judd, Todd (Michelle); grandfather of Amber, Heather, Christian, Kayla, Tabetha, Michael, Caleb and Alena Troxler; Dana Adams (Chaz) and Kelly Berthelot; Malia, Kelsie and Angel Gassen; Cain, Sonni, Rilee, Addi and Trulee Madere.
Son of the late Joseph Myrtle and Maria Ella Bourgeois Troxler; brother of the late Hilda Brown, Clifford Troxler and Merlin Troxler; survived by Leonard, Elva Donnaud and Rhetta Champagne. Relatives and friends were invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lafourche Arc, P.O. Box 269, Thibodaux, LA 70302.
