Crowning a queen at the Catfish Festival
The La. Catfish Festival will host its' 31st annual La. Catfish Queens pageant on Saturday June 10.
New Queens chosen will be for Teen Queen XI and Miss Queen XXXI. Teen category will be for girls between the ages of 14-17, and Miss between the ages of 18-23. Contestants must live in St. Charles, St. John, St. James or Lafourche parishes. Winners of the La. Catfish Festival will hold a state title and will reign over the Catfish Festival the weekend of July 7-9. Girls interested in competing should contact Lydia Dempster or Aimee Champagne @785-0289.
