Lafreniere 91 Gamblers win back-to-back championships
For the second year in a row, The Lafreniere 91 Gamblers won the U17 Division State Championship Cup in Lafayette.

The team is made up of players from the Luling, Houma, Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas, and will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina later in June to compete in regionals.

A truck driver was arrested and charged with a DWI after crashing into three cars and injuring three people in Boutte on Tuesday morning, according to the Louisiana State Police.
