Sacred Heart School recommended for accreditation
Norco, LA - Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Norco has been recommended for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.
The organization's mission is "to help schools improve student learning through accreditation." A five-member committee visited the school in March for a quality assurance review of the school's guided self-study involving the faculty, staff, students, parents and community.
An in-depth study of all aspects of the school concluded that Sacred Heart School meets the necessary standards for recommendation for accreditation. Upon approval the school will be recognized at the SACS CASI Annual Conference to be held this December in Atlanta.
Sacred Heart is the first Catholic school in the River Parishes to be recommended for SACS accreditation.
