Herald-Guide wins 12 LPA awards

The St. Charles Herald-Guide walked away with 12 awards from the Louisiana Press Association at the organization's annual awards banquet in Lafayette on April 26.

The Herald-Guide won three first place awards, including Best Lifestyles Coverage, Best Classified Humor Ad and Best Classified Section or Page. The paper also finished second in five other categories, including Best Front Page, Best Editorial Page, Best News Coverage, Best Headline and Community Service.

The Herald-Guide finished third in General Excellence, Best Headline, Best Regular Column and Best Website.
