Preston Williams passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at his home in Luling, LA was called to his Heavenly Home.

Son of the late Thomas and Rebecca Banks Williams. Devoted husband of Doris Clark Williams. Loving father of Monica Williams, Katherine Williams, Charmaine Williams, Lisa Williams Johnson (Kenneth) and Trina Williams Brignac (John, Sr.). Brother of Evelina Jackson, Shirley Green, Orelia Butler, Morris Williams, Sr., the late Elnora Morris, Thomas Williams, Reuben Williams, Otis Williams, Samuel Williams and Clementine Williams. Grandfather of Trae, Cherrelle, John, Jr., Trejon, Dominique, Akira, Akendra and the late Jemyra Johnson. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 76 years. A native and resident of Luling.

Funeral Service took place at the historic Bethlehem Baptist Church, 14989 Highway 18, Hahnville, LA on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.. Rev Rodney Johnson, Pastor, Officiating. Interment: St Mary Cemetery, Boutte, LA. Visitation at the above named church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
