HHS Touchdown Club to have night out
PrintChevys Fresh Mex Restaurant, located at 1325 W. Esplanade Avenue, behind the Esplanade Mall, will host a "HHS/Chevys night out" on May 25 at 5 p.m. until closing.
Hahnville High School football fans can enjoy a great meal and Chevys will donate a percentage of all purchases made on behalf of HHS to the HHS Touchdown Club. All proceeds from the event are used to support the HHS football program. Which include players, cheerleaders, managers and trainers. For information contact 785-8423 or 758-7961.

FEMA deadline passes with no new flood rates - 581 views
After indicating they would release new flood insurance rates by June 1 to be applied to local homes under the Biggert-Waters Act, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has said the release of that information will now be delayed.
