Boutte native to perform at Jazz Fest

Boutte native, Johnnie Proby, will be returning home from California to perform at the Jazz and Heritage Festival and celebrate the release of her debut album ‘Life is Now’.

Johnnie’s album release party will take place on Friday, May 5 at 7 p.m. at Ray-Barb’s Gold Room Restaurant, located at 4001 Lapalco Blvd., in Harvey. She will perform at Jazz Fest in the Gospel Tent on May 7.
