Residents are encouraged to attend the 55th Annual National Day of Prayer celebration of freedom at the courthouse in Hahnville on May 4 at noon.

This year’s theme is “America, Honor God”. Congress established the National Day of Prayer in 1988 and designated that it be celebrated on the first Thursday in the month of May.
