PrintIt is with great sadness that the family of Guy A. Bourgeois announce his passing after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the age of 62.
Born on April 22, 1945 to the late Inez Haydel and Percy Joseph Bourgeois. Guy was employed at E.I. Dupont for over 42 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Judy Falcon Bourgeois. Father of Michelle Bourgeois Miranda and husband Dennis P. Miranda and Guy Tyler Bourgeois and wife Tasha M. Bourgeois. Brother of Patricia Bourgeois Poche and Percy J. "Buddy" Bourgeois, Jr. Grandfather of Ashley Nicole Miranda, Logan Ray, Carson Tyler and Jaxon Tyler. Visitation was held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian
Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Church Mausoleum. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.
