It was a lot like Mardi Gras when students from Lakewood Elementary in Luling dressed up for the school’s annual parade.

Tyler Lamers and Kaylin Morales reigned as this year’s king and queen reign for the 2008 parade which was held on Feb 1.

Hundreds of onlookers were rewarded with beautiful spring weather as the Lakewood school children marched down Lakewood Drive throwing beads and trinkets.
