Herald-Guide Editor Jonathan Menard and his long-time companion Lynda Parker exchanged vows on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans.

It was a day rumored to be plagued with thunderstorms and hurricane-force winds, but instead the turbulent weather followed a more northerly course and spared the couple’s afternoon ceremony.

Family and friends from both north Louisiana and Alabama traveled to the Big Easy to share in Jonathan and Lynda’s special day, and to enjoy a true New Orleans reception at Galatoire’s Restaurant on Bourbon Street.

Congratulations from the Herald-Guide staff. We wish you both a lifetime filled with love and happiness. Cheers!
