St. Germain’s approach to teaching color theory is to raise the awareness of color temperature - warms and cools - as the key to seeing color and believes that one must see the relationship between colors relative to visual warmth and coldness to best capture the subject on paper or canvas.

Students of the workshop will explore how to get better control over manipulating hues, values and intensities of LULING - The St. Charles Art Guild is holding a water media workshop called “Acquiring a Sound and Useful Understanding of the colors on their palette.
