PrintDavid Lee Pensis passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. in Luling. Beloved husband of Peraline D. Pensis.
Father of Desiree Pensis and her companion Gene Van Matre, Diana Blumling and her husband Rick, Tina Craig and the late Mary Pensis. Step-father of Michael Dunn, John Vito, Timmy Billiot, Greta Hebert, Loretta Matherne, Cindy Wood, Mary Hearndon and Jenny Dunn. Son of the late Amable and Emily Pensis. Brother of John Vidal, Joseph Pensis, Diane Briggs and Joanne Dubensky. Also survived by 25 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 1 grandchild. A native of Pittsburg, PA and a resident of Bayou Gauche. Age 67 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Religious services on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. at Life Fellowship Community Church, Bayou Gauche. Interment Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche. Visitation from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the church.
