Learning how things grow at New Sarpy
NEW SARPY - Carson Neu, a New Sarpy Kindergarten student, works closely with Samantha Clement , a Destrehan High School WISE club member learning how to plant seeds, what seeds need to grow and how to care for plants.

The WISE club visited Lynn Hymel's, Rosaie Hauk's and Pam Shepard's classes. They will return to NSK in December to follow up this lesson, and make plans to plant gardens with the students in the spring.

This project is funded with a Dorothy Dorsett and Joe W. Brown grant.
