Brien
Earl B. 'E.B.' Brien, Jr., of Des Allemands, passed away on Oct. 29, 2007 at the age of 63 years.
He is preceded in death by his father Earl Brien, Sr. Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Brien, his mother Frances Brien, his sons: Wayne and his wife Angela, Mark and his wife Patty, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Timothy Wood, and his brother Clark Brien.
He was a devoted “Paw Paw” to Stacey, Heather, Lindsey, Mark Jr., Brandon and Emily. Earl will also be dearly missed by numerous friends and extended family. Mr. Brien was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having proudly served aboard the U.S.S. Newport News.
He was an active member and Eucharistic minister of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 17292 Hwy 631, Des Allemands, 70030 on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 for visitation at 9 a.m. with a Funeral Mass that followed at 11 a.m. Interment was at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, 3500 Hwy 1, Raceland, LA 70394. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
