ADAMS
Stanley Henry Adams, entrusted to God's Loving Care on October 31, 2007 in Jefferson. Age 81. A Veteran U.S. Navy having served in WWII. He retired from Shell Oil Refinery.
A native of New Sarpy and a resident of Norco. Survivors include: His wife of 58 years; Margaret Baylis Adams, Norco, Daughter and Son-in-law, Mary Adams Jacob and husband Robert “Butch” Gonzales, lA., 1 brother; Raymond Adams, New Sarpy, LA., 1 sister: Irene Lashbrook, Rockville, Indiana, 3 Grandchildren: Brandon, Grant and Wife Courtney and Lindsay and husband Drew.
Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren: Kane, Remy, Mason and Evie. Preceded in death by his parents: Sophie and Henry Adams; 1 Brother: Roland Adams and 1 Sister; Audrey Hymel. Visitation was commenced on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco from 1:30 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. Rev. Terry Hayden, celebrant.
Entombment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.
