Suspects innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
Theft
•A handgun, voaued at $288, was stolen from 203 Baker St. in Paradis on Sept. 11.
•A black leather purse, $150 in U.S. currency, assoerted preseciptions and a debit card, valued at $170, were stolen from 430 Barber Rd. in Paradis on Sept. 10.
•Assoreted jewelry and assorted U.S. currency was stoeln from 131 Adams St. in Killona on Sept. 8.
•A 1996 Ford Taurus, valued at $6000, was stolen from 200 Boutte Estates Dr. in Boutte on Sept. 8.
•Bobcat equipment was stolen from 10176 U.S. 61 in St. Rose on Sept. 7.
•Two gun cases and a deer reack, valued at $120, were stolen from 65 Elmwood Dr. in Destrehan on Sept. 7.
•A revolver, a safe containing assorted items, assorted U.S. currency and assorted jewelry at an undetermined value were stolen from 723 Easy St. in New Sarpy on Sept. 7.
•A boat and trailer, valued at $9000, was stolen from the intersection of U.S. 90 and Monsanto Ave. in LUling on Sept. 7.
•A Playstation 2, valued at $140, was stolen from 902 Paul Fredrick St. in LUling on Sept. 9.
•A cell phone, valued at $130, was stolen from 521 Almedia Rd. in St. Rose on Sept. 9.
Arrests
•Christy A .Zeller, 30, of 325 Greenwood Dr. in LaPlace was arrested on Sept. 7 and charged with distribution of crack cocaine to an undercover officer.
•Arthur W. Martin, 38, of 900 Kinler St. in Luling was arrested and charged with distribution of crack cocaine to an undercover officer on Sept. 7.
•David B. Walton, 33, of 6 Houmas Place in Destrehan was arrested on Sept. 8 and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired motor vehicle insurance and not using a turn signal.
DWI
•Belinda A. Thomas, 47, of 300 East Club Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on Sept. 8 and charged with DWI and speeding.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 1123 views
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police were able to track down a 23-year-old man who reportedly stole items from a car and broke into a house early Friday morning.
