The St. Charles Herald Guide and the St. Charles Parish Bar Association will present a debate between the three candidates running for parish president on Oct. 3 at the Hahnville High school auditorium. The exact time will be announced in next week's issue.

The debate is free and open to the public. Candidates V.J. St. Pierre, Chris Tregre, and Clayton "Snookie" Faucheux have all agreed to participate.

Have questions for the candidates? Email them to debate@heraldguide.com, mail them to St. Charles Herald Guide, debate question, P.O. Box 1199, Boutte, LA 70039 or drop them off at the St. Charles Herald Guide office on Hwy. 90 in Boutte.

Questions will be chosen by an independent panel based on relevancy to the race and the future of St. Charles Parish.
