High school students who are residents of St. Charles Parish are invited to attend a series of two help sessions to assist them in their preparation for taking the ACT.

The sessions include an overview of the ACT, practice tests, and test taking strategies specific to the ACT.

To receive the most benefit from the Prep sessions, students need to attend both sessions. The sessions will be held at Destrehan High's Technology Building on Sunday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 7.

Each session will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A fee of $10 includes both sessions.

Students wishing to attend must register by noon on Thursday, Sept. 27 by contacting Sandra Zeller at the St. Charles Parish Public Schools' Central Office by calling 985-785-7265 or by emailing her at szeller@stcharles.k12.la.us. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
