St. Rose man charged with electricity theft
A St. Rose man has been charged with stealing $600 worth of electrical power from Entergy.
Franz Archundia, 33 of 136 Eisenhower St., Lot 9, in St. Rose was arrested July 25 after an Entergy employee, Kirk Derokey discovered tampering of Archundia’s electrical box.
According to an official report, Derokey works as a tampering specialist for meter services for Entergy.
Derokey showed the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Deputy the illegal connections he found in Archundia’s electrical box, outside his residence.
Information obtained from official reports states that power had been disconnected by Entergy in January of 2007.Subscribe Today and Save!!!
