Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law
•Herbert A. Arnold Jr., 75, of 232 Penfold Place in Harahan was arrested on July 30 in Destrehan and charged with DWI, reckless operation and open container.
•Peter S. Ironrope, 38, of 10795 Mead Rd. in Baton Rouge was arrested on July 28 and charged with DWI, hit and run, reckless operation and open container.
•Douglas Linn, 46 of 130 Lynn Dr. in Paradis was arrested on July 25 and charged wtih DWI, reckless operation and litteirng.
•German Gasleas, 37, of 1437 Utah Beach Dr. in Bridge City was arreseted on July 24 in Luling and charged with DWI, reckless operation and operation of a motor vehicle without legal presence.
•A generator, valued at $1000. was stolen from 249 West Harding St. in New Sarpy on July 27.
•A cell phone and a digital camera, valued at $500, was stolen from 258 Magnolia Ridge in Boutte on July 29.
•A television/DVD player, valued at $120, was stolen from 360 Alexander St. in Boutte on July 26.
•Assorted copper wire, valued at $900, was stolen from 186 Vans Lane in New Sarpy on July 26.
•A 2004 Trailer, valued at $10,000, was stolen from 10352 LA 48 in St. Rose.
•A 1989 Honda Accord was stolen from 17292 LA 631 Des Allemands on July 24.
•Joanna M. Daray, 24, 115 Fashion Blvd. in Hahnville was arrested on July 24 and charged with unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling.
•Franz Archundia, 33, of 136 Eisenhower St., Lot 9 in St. Rose was arrested on July 25 and charged with theft of utility services after allegedly having an illegal electricity connection hooked up to his residence.
•Craig Morris, 23, of 1533 Westminster Blvd. in Marrero was arrested on July 37 and charged with simple burglary.
•Ray J. Lester, 33, of 110 Rocks Lane, Lot 13 in Boutte was arrested on July 29 and charged with attempted manslaughter and simple battery.
•Eli Davis, 17, of 604 East Club Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on July 26 and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.
•Frederick L. Evans, 20, of 604 East Club Dr. in St. Rose was arrested and charged with molestation of a juvenile.
•Garret Dummiles, 43, of 170 Smith St., Lot 1 was arrested on July 27 and charged wtih aggravated assault.
•Joseph A. Spunzio, 33, of 209 W. Loyola Dr. in Kenner was arrested on July 27 and charged wtih simple burglary.

With road upgrade work on the Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge to begin Sunday, St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne chastised the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) for excluding local agencies from providing input in a traffic re-routing plan that could cause substantial additional traffic congestion.
