NICE CATCH. Mark Holton.
What are three things you need to know about Team CFC?
No. 1 - The club focuses on sharing their passion for Christ and fishing as a group.
No. 2 - Each month the group gathers for a club meeting and fishing tournament.
No. 3 - The montly fishing tourneys are all worth it in the end at the annual fishing competition.
The next meeting for St. Charles Parish’s Casting for Christ fishing club will be held on Thursday, June 14 at the First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands located at 16976 Highway 90 with Rev. Mo Seneca as the guest speaker.
The club’s next tournament will be held on Saturday, June 16.
Club officials would like all readers to please note the change in location for the next CFC meeting.
Members are excited and honored to hold their next meeting at the First Assembly of God church in Des Allemands.
“We look forward to the opportunity to partner with another local church in our community,” said Paul Mire.
“Since there may be many new guests to the club, we will be sharing details about how the club functions and how our fishing tourneys work.
“So if you have never attended a CFC meeting or fishing event, this would be a great time to come out and have dinner with us and learn more about our club,” said Mire.
CFC meetings scheduled for the remainder of the year: June 14, July 12, August 23, Sept. 27, Oct. 25, Nov. 15, Jan. 17.
And tournaments will be held on: June 16, July 14, Aug. 25, Sept. 29, Oct. 27, Nov. 17 and Jan. 19.
