Coveted trophy up for grabs
Race Chairman Tracie Lack and United Way Executive Director Denise Brodsky hold the coveted team participation trophy won by St. Charles Parish Schools for the past two years.
This year, several businesses are trying their hardest to take the trophy away from the School Board, including Valero, who has offered to pay the entry fee for its workers and their families. This beautiful work of art was commissioned by Valero and created by internationally recognized local artist Matt Touchard.
