Businesses will again challenge St. Charles Parish School System for the highly coveted team participation trophy awarded by the Valero St. Charles United Way Bridge Run. For the past two years, St. Charles Parish Schools has won the trophy. Last year’s school team boasted over 300 participants.

This year, several businesses are trying their hardest to take the trophy away from the School Board, including Valero, who has offered to pay the entry fee for its workers and their families. This beautiful work of art was commissioned by Valero and created by internationally recognized local artist Matt Touchard.
