St. Charles high school athletes in the spotlight again this week

Students from Destrehan High School and Hahnville High School make The Times-Picayune 2007 All-Metro sports teams

Ten St. Charles Parish student athletes have made the cut and were named to The Times-Picayune All-Metro track, tennis and golf teams making them part of this week’s VIPs - Very Important Parishioners.

Landing a spot on the All-Metro Track Team are: Destrehan High School - Tim Molton, long jump. Hahnville High School - Marcus Campbell, triple jump; Kiera Davis, discus; Ta’Nesha Steib, long jump.

Parish kid who made the All-Metro Tennis Team are: Destrehan High School - Charlie Jones, junior.

Student athletes who made the All-Metro Golf Team are: Hahnville High School - Derek Bonvillain, senior; Allie Petit, sophomore.
