Knobloch
Richard Francis Knobloch passed away on Wednesday, May 30 in River Ridge. Survived by his companion Bonnie R. Baudoin. Son of the late Guy Knobloch, Sr. and Jessie Schmill Knobloch. Brother of Guy “Chippy” Knobloch, Sr. and wife Peggy, Cecile Knobloch and the late Henry Knobloch, Sr. Age 62. A native of Boutte. He was employed by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. A memorial gathering was held Friday, June 1 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. Arrangements by Falgout Funeral Home.
BadeauxJames Andrew Badeaux Jr. passed away on Monday May 28, 2007 at the age of 46. Little Jimmy was born in Marrero December 15, 1960 and grew up in Lafitte. He started out on the tugs but when he was classified disabled with VHL he decided to go back to school where he finished with a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. He was able to work as a Planner for six years until the progression of the disease left him physically impaired.
Throughout his shortened life, James tried to live by the saying, "When life deals you lemons, learn to make lemonade!" He is survived by his wife Kathleen, sister Jamie (Clint), his grandmother Ms. Bessie Kraemer and numerous family and friends.
The family invites friends to celebrate his life at a memorial on Monday June 11, 2007 at 2:00P.M. at Schoen Funeral Home of Covington, 1414 South Tyler St., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will be from 1:00P.M. until service time.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Tammany Hospice.

Legislators vow to help parish fight huge insurance increases - 559 views
Parish President V.J. St. Pierre, along with eight other parish presidents and representatives from five other parishes, visited Washington, D.C. to talk to officials about the potential spike in local flood insurance premiums should large portions of the Biggert-Waters Act be allowed to take effect in October.
