Local high school athletes are a cut ABOVE the rest

Students from Destrehan High and Hahnville High schools make The Times-Picayune All-Metro sports teams

Eight St. Charles Parish student athletes have made the cut and were named to The Times-Picayune All-Metro softball and baseball teams making them part of this week’s VIPs - Very Important Parishioners.

Landing a spot on the All-Metro Softball Team are: Hahnville High School - Chelsey Flores, senior; Dara Fontenot, senior; Meghan Vial, senior. Destrehan High School - Desiree Harvey, sophomore.

Parish kids who made the All-Metro Baseball Team are: Hahnville High School - Taylor Domengeaux, senior; Colby Broussard, senior. Destrehan High School - Renny Webre, senior; Trey Watkins, junior.
