Lead us on, graduates of 2007
Whether you go off to college or vocational school or directly into the working world, there are great opportunities ahead. Our democracy has given you the freedom to pursue your future as you see fit.
Take advantage of it. Perhaps you will invent an item that will make the world a healthier place to live. Or write the book that will set others on the right path toward a better life.
Maybe you’ll help lead our parish or nation toward establishing a government that truly represents the best interests of the people. Or write the music that makes us enjoy life much more.
You must of course consider what you enjoy doing and what you can do well. Get some advice from others who have succeeded in the fields you are considering before making your choice.
And whatever you do, be sure it is beneficial to others as well as yourself. You have a moral obligation to make this world better.
So lead us on, graduates of St. Charles Parish. You deserve the glory you will receive this week. Make it count in the years ahead.
