Hahnville High School golf coaches Ronnie Cantrelle and Jarrett Walker would like to congratulate the HHS boys and girls golf team on a successful season.

The boy’s team finished in 3rd place behind Catholic High and Mandeville High at the state tourney with a two-day total of 603.

Derek Bonvillain capped off his senior year with a great day.

Through his dedication and determination he was able to finish tied for medallist at the regional tournament and went on to finish fourth in the state out of 103 players. Bonvillian shot 72-68 for a two-day total 4-under par 140 for 4th place.

There were 17 teams competing. Other scores: Andrew Noto - 74-76=150  and  finished 17th, Dayton Bordelon - 75-77=152   and finished 25th, Caleb Lampert - 78-83=161 and finished 53rd, Paul Hymel - 89-97=186   and finished 93rd.

What she did not expect was for her daughter to suffer a sharp drop in math grades.
