Business Expo
This coming Friday and Saturday, St. Charles residents will be treated to a showcase of local goods and services as the St. Charles Business Expo and Health Fair gets underway in the Hahnville High School Gym.
The two-day tradeshow sponsored by the St. Charles Parish's Business Association, School Board, local Government, and Hospital will include merchants from all areas of the business community. Representatives of Home, health, business, services, education, and industry, all will be on hand to aquatint you their trades as they showcase services and wares in hopes of keeping your tax dollars local.
We here in the River Parishes have for too long, become accustomed to the inconvenience of traveling outside our area for competitive prices. The St. Charles Business Expo affords local business an excellent opportunity to remind, we the consumer, that products and services offered outside St. Charles Parish are also available at comparable prices within the parish as well. And that creates a stronger community. Local commerce means a stronger tax base. And that is the basis for better and enhanced services that contribute to the quality of life here in St. Charles Parish.
In addition, St. Charles Hospital will hosted a Health Fair along side the Expo which will give participants an opportunity to check the blood pressure, cholesterol, and general health screening.
While doing so, St. Charles Hospital is afforded an opportunity to reintroduce themselves to parish residents who's insurance coverage makes it more difficult to seek medical services here in St. Charles Parish.
For years now, St. Charles Parish has held an Expo promoting the theme, "shop local". And each year, thousands of people get that message.
