Fore! Hahnville GOLF TEAM tees off for state championships

The Hahnville High Boys Golf Team hosted the Division I Region III Class 5-A Regional Tournament at Willowdale Country Club on Tuesday, April 24 and did so with an outstanding performance by the entire team.

They qualified as a team for the State Tournament and all five players qualified as individuals. Andrew Noto and Derek Bonvillain both shot 74 and were the top medalists.

Rounding out the team were Dayton Bordelon with a 79, Caleb Lampert with an 82 and Paul Hymel with an 86. The team also took the District Championship as well.

Here are the results of the tournament: Hahnville - 309, Assumption - 333, South Lafourche - 349, Terrebonne - 355, Central Lafourche - 370, Thibodaux - 371, Ellender - 375, South Terrebonne - 376, H.L. Bourgeois - 385, Destrehan - -402.
