Herald-Guide wins big again in Louisiana Press awards contest

Named the Best Weekly Newspaper in Louisiana in 2006 for our coverage of hurricanes Katrina and Rita and their afternath, the St. Charles Herald-Guide has won several top awards in 2007.

In this year’s contest, we won awards for Best Editorial, Best Photo Feature, Best News Package, Best Advertising - and Best Graphic Design.

And that’s just the “best of” category. Our staff also won a slew of additional awards - not bad when you consider the competition: broadsheet and tabloid newspapers that produce thousands of top-notch stories, photos, advertisements and special editions week in and week out ... from one end of the state to the other.
