Lakewood Elementary fourth graders compare maps
Students in Mindy Baudouin's fourth grade class at Lakewood Elementary participated in a gallery walk to compare various types of maps.

They visited six different stations and discussed as a group the similarities and differences in the maps.† Their answers were recorded on a graphic organizer.† Pictured above from left to right are:†† Marely Huerta, Gage Seyfert, Dylan Hicks, and Isabel Dial comparing a map of New Orleans in 1849 to a map of modern day New Orleans.
