Food drive and sewing camp top the list of activities these guys are involved in

The Families for Home Education 4H Club collected 89 food items during their monthly food drive.

These items were donated to the St. Charles Parish Social Concerns Food Bank. Students collected jars of jelly, cans of potted meat and Vienna sausage, cereal, grits and other items.

Families for Home Education 4H-ers Kasey McGill of Luling and Victoria Tujague of St. Rose gave a demonstration on how to make a shower bag during a regular club meeting.

Both girls were selected to represent St. Charles Parish at State Sewing Camp held January 19th to 21st at Camp Grant Walker in Pineville, Louisiana.

The theme of this year's camp was Fashion Camp Island Style. Junior Leader Kelsey McGill, State 4H Fashion Board Member, attended the camp as an instructor.
