Overturned fuel truck on fire in Luling
St. Charles Parish officials are responding to an overturned fuel truck burning off the Hwy. 3127 exit in Luling.

The I-310 northbound and southbound lanes to Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge are closed while officials respond to the scene.

Traffic is being detoured to River Road (Highway 18) in Luling, but the bridge is open to traffic.

The truck apparently overturned in a two-vehicle collision that occurred around 8 a.m. today (April 13), according to parish spokesman Tristan Babin.

Information is not yet available on the people involved in the accident or their condition, Babin said. Louisiana State Police will report on their status.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call the State Police at (504) 471-2775.
