Destrehan High School Cox Inspirational Hero
JayQuan Terrell, a senior at Destrehan High School, was recently selected as the school’s Cox Inspirational Hero. Terrell is in the Culinary Arts Program at the St.Charles Parish Satellite Center.

His love of cooking and desire to help others were the catalysts for his senior project of feeding a group of homeless people in New Orleans. Terrell plans to continue his culinary training at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. His vocational goal and dream is to own and operate a food truck in the New Orleans area. His motivation and desire to learn are an inspiration to others. Pictured with Terrell are DHS Assistant Principal David Schexnaydre (left) and DHS Principal Stephen Weber.
