Celebration of the Apparition of Mary
The annual celebration in honor of Mary's reported apparition to Louis Saia will take place Sat., March 17 beginning at 10 a.m. with Way of the Cross, followed by the celebration of Holy Mass with Fr. Paul Bergeron as homilist. Louis Saia will give a sharing afterwards. It will take place at the shrine of Our Lady of Compassionate Protection where the reported apparition took place: 106 Jim Bowie Rd, Houma, LA.

KC council to host fish fry
LULING - The Knights of Columbus Council 2409 will hosts two fish frys this Lenten season at St. Anthony's Church, 256 Angus Dr. on Friday, March 9 and 15 starting at 5 p.m. Cost: $6 for fried catfish, corn, potato salad and dessert.

Spring revival coming to a town near you

Church hosts St. Joseph Altar
DES ALLEMANDS - St. Gertrude Catholic Church will host a St. Joseph Altar on Sunday, March 18 following the 10 a.m. Mass. The tupa-tupa, blessing and viewing of the altar will be immediately following the 4 p.m. Mass. Food will be served.
