ARRESTS

Clayton R. Parker, 26, of 350 Goodhope St. in Norco was arrested on Feb. 28 for cruelty to animals.

Roylynn Powell, 17, of 1011 Estole St. in Harvey was arrested on Feb. 23 for the possession of a stolen automobile.

Kerry Molier, 36, of 500 Ormond Blvd in Destrehan was arrested on Feb. 23 for speeding, possession of methadone, heroine and marijuana.

Selina Elliot, 17, of 260 Boutte Estates in Boutte was arrested on Feb. 23 for the possession of a stolen automobile.

THEFT

A 600-ft. welding lead,, welding whips, and welding grounds valued at $1548.00 was stolen from 15442 LA 18 in Hahnville on Feb. 23.

Approximately 225 brinks valued at $243.00 was stolen from 2343 Ormond Blvd in Destrehan on Feb. 23.

An air compressor valued at $250.00 was stolen from 328 St. Rose Ave. in St. Rose on Feb. 25.

A lap-top computer, a computer CPU tower, a printer, a 42 in. T.V., a DVD player, a DVD recorder, an Ipod, a cell phone, a men's watch, a men's wedding ring, a princess cut engagement ring, a woman's wedding ring and a wedding band valued at $8,600.00 was stolen from 54 Carriage Lane in Destrehan on Feb. 24.

DWI

Roger Samuel Giddens, 45, of 243 Tregle Lane in Des Allemands was arrested on Feb. 24 for a D.W.I., resisting an officer, public bribery, misrepresenting during booking.

Crad M. Poche, 37, of 1890 Faustine Ct. in Lutcher was arrested on Feb. 25 for a D.W.I. and speeding.

Jesus Garza, 35, of 3505 East Louisiana State Drive in Kenner was arrested on Feb. 24 for D.W.I, careless operation of a vehicle and driver under a suspended license.
