Sheriff Greg Champagne is seeking your help in learning the identity of a subject who robbed the Capital One Bank in Destrehan, Louisiana at approximately 9:08 a.m. this morning.

An unknown white male entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.  The subject implied that he had a weapon.  The suspect is approximately 5’6 – 5’8, thin with blue eyes, wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, with “Old Navy” on the sweatshirt, a dark ball cap, and a white t-shirt with jeans.

The teller complied, at which time the subject fled the scene northbound on foot. This incident is under investigation.  Anyone having any information is asked to contact the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-6807 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP.  Citizens do not have to give their name nor testify and could receive up to $5000.
