Ponchatoula SINKS Hahnville girls in a heartbreaker

HEARTBREAKER. Hahnville High’s girls basketball team suffered a tough loss to Ponchatoula High School’s Green Wave. PHS beat HHS 61 to 48 in a playoffs matchup.

The loss leaves the girls with a 24-8 record overall, 13-3 at home and 10-4 away. Notable players were Danielle Douglas - 12 points, Chey Hill - 11 points and Nadia Cox - 10 points.
